The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates random drug and alcohol testing for each transportation modality. The Council on Alcohol and Drugs offers consortium services on an annual basis for DOT regulated companies falling under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines.
